Location 

Alder Lodge is in the lovely village of Sedgeford, brilliantly located just a few minutes from the North West Norfolk Coast and Peddars Way.

The house is in a quiet cul de sac, yet only a minute’s walk to the pub and about three to a well equipped playground! 

Beaches

 

So many wonderful beaches just a few minutes away by car - Old Hunstanton, Holme, Brancaster, Heacham, Hunstanton, Holkham and Wells. Optional use of well equipped beach hut at Old Hunstanton, where there is also a lifeboat station and great cafe. Travelling from Sedgeford also gives you the added bonus of avoiding the main coast road at peak times.

Out and about

From bird-watching, cycling and walking to kite-surfing and seal-watching you won't have far to go. So many great places to eat, plenty very child friendly, or if shopping is your thing, spend a few hours in Burnham Market - if you need a hat for a wedding you won't need go any further!

Norfolk Lavender, Farmer Fred's Playbarn and a farm shop are within a mile. The Sea-Life Centre is at Hunstanton or take a boat trip from Blakeney to see the seals. Others will love the windmill and farm at Great Bircham. For birdwatchers you are minutes from Snettisham, Holme, Brancaster, and Titchwell. 

Historic Houses 

 

Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Hall are among several that are in easy reach and well worth a visit.
